Hi my name is Kathie. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the blog world.


I am pretty much you're all around natural Super Mom. haha..yeah, don't I wish. But no, really.......I'm also a full time employee by day and a part time housekeeper by night. Oh hell, who am I kidding? Cleaning is way on the bottom of my priority list. 

I am also a healthy living advocate and strive to balance exercise and healthy eating while taking care of my family. Fitness has been a huge passion of mine for as long as I can remember - which surprisingly enough, is pretty far back. The earliest I can think of as to when it really became passionate is when I was in Kindergarden (yup! that early) and my Mom and Aunt registered me for gymnastics. It was love at first site and I dont think i've looked back since. I love everything fitness! Reading about it, participating in it, sharing it. You name it! I am secretly hoping that as I raise my Little's that they'll hopefully absorb at least some of the passion I have for healthy living and fitness - just like Mommy. 

When I'm not doing my corporate America thing, I am enjoying being a full time Mom.  This beautiful lady below is "Little Bear." She's the greatest thing since carbs...LOL!! She has such a fun-loving personality and reminds me so much of me. It took a lot of sad moments but eventually our "miracle baby" as I like to call her finally arrived....just days before Christmas. (My absolute favorite holiday. Those close to me call me "Little Miss Christmas" Oh if you only knew...*insert evil cartoon laugh here*) 


Little Bear is also about to be a Big Sister!  Her little brother arrived right around Halloween a few years ago.

Through this blog I want to document my training to regain my MILF status as well as maybe any upcoming races that i've been dreaming about becoming a reality, exploring new forms of exercise, and just life’s ramblings in general.

There are many roles in my life that I juggle on a daily basis. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, employee, Mommy, friend and athlete.

Beneath all of those things I am just a woman trying to eat healthy, stay active and live right.
