I know we all see those chicks in bikinis on Instagram talking about their wellness retreats and juicing on a beach somewhere exotic BUT I know we all can't jet set half way across the world. (YET ;) ) Here are some reasons why we want to do this at HOME instead of flying off to an island & why we are inviting you:
1. They are expensive YO! 'nuff said there.
2. The retreats are either too short to get the benefits or way too long & will take time away from our sweet puppy faces we love so much! #nothanks
3. We would have to stop everything to go reset. This means that we have to take what we have learned and apply it to our life when we get home with having little to no experience cooking LEGIT vegan or vegetarian meals on our own. PLUS I meannnn, I can do it but it wont be that great. HELLO, even though Derek cooks for me most of the time, hes not well versed in that type of cooking either!! Ya girl needs help here! We wouldn't have the experience of applying and living it in my EVERY DAY normal life which is ALMOST completely um, NOT beneficial long term for us.
We wanted to do something that allows us to reset without breaking the bank & taking up all of our time. && We want to do it WITH YOU, because well, we aren't the ONLY ones who want a shift in our lives AND we need the support just as much as anyone else!
Making a commitment. Why the hell are we doing this?
Before Coach Summit in Nashville a couple weeks ago, I had already decided to commit to the ULTIMATE RESET in August, so when Beachbody's CEO Carl Daikeler challenged us to start ONE program from start to finish I was like HELL YES, WE got this! It was a TOTAL confirmation for us to do this reset! Making the commitment to do this program was BIG for us! Its 3 weeks of totally working together & holding each other accountable which will be SO GREAT for our health separately, but also as a couple!

After talking it over for a long time I was considering going to a 100% plant based like but later decided to just cut out meat from our diets and become pescitarian after reflecting on our health & history We knew it was TIME to do a RESET. The Boyfriend has been feeling reallly crummy lately - always getting sick, always tired and recently becoming quite dependent on alcohol. And on my end, I have been dealing with the reappearance of my anxiety, depression, feeling tire and frustrated all the time and becoming quite dependent on wine. I have ONLY been really committed to my health & fitness for a little under 2 years now & I've been working really hard on my growth and learning my body through home fitness with Beachbody's kick ass programs. Before that, I was always a major health nut and never allowing myself to get this "let go"! What we want to do is do a cleanse that will still allow us to EAT while we detox & allow our bodies to reset NATURALLY.
We wanted a fun way to have the wellness retreat feel with keeping the practicality of learning to incorporate it into our daily lives, without the time away from home, and all without the price tag! Not saying its going to be EASY, but its so much better & FUN with a community!

I have heard countless stories about the reset, how it has the power to completely transform your life which as you know, I'M ALL ABOUT! One of my fellow coaches just finished the reset & lost 15 FREAKING LBS!! HELLO!
So, what specifically is the Ultimate Reset and how does it help you down the road to wellness? The Ultimate Reset is a 21-day program that gently helps restore the body to its “factory settings” while maximizing energy production and nutrient retention. The Ultimate Reset is a program designed to get the body in top shape internally, just as a fitness program gets the body in top shape externally. Anyone looking to restore energy, boost moods, and maximize health can dramatically improve the way they feel and function.
RECLAIM. The first week of the Ultimate Reset is phase 1 where you will reclaim your body, accessing its inner chemistry and preparing it for change. You’ll gradually remove foods such as red meat and dairy from your diet.
RELEASE. With week two comes phase 2 where you begin to release unwanted compounds that have been holding your system back and start the detoxification process. SO! This is the EXTRA fun part! After the first week and a half of the Reset you will have access to an online Yoga Retreat that will be 21 days long. This retreat will be done on Beachbody On Demand and will begin with a week of straightforward yoga basics. The focus will be on basic positions and alignment, no fancy schmancy stuff just simple poses led by yogis who specialize in many different types of yoga. Week two takes it a little farther with some flow but it is still not too complicated or aggressive. Week three puts it all together and challenges you even more. One of the coolest things about this: YOU WILL BE IN THE FIRST GROUP TO DO THIS and it’s designed forBEGINNERS. Since there is NO working out on the reset (even me! I need this rest to totally heal from adrenal fatigue) this is the only thing you are cleared to do! Your body is doing ENOUGH hard work on its own while it replenishes itself back to a beautiful place for you, so adding extra stress on the body will be TOTALLY unnecessary and will probably hinder you!

You will be added to a Facebook group with other people participating in our retreat. We will be sharing wellness tips, doing some personal development, and there will be some of my favorite videos from motivational speakers and mindset/personal development specialists. GET EXCITED because we are going to embark on an AMAZING journey into health and wellness.
We will kick off on Monday August 29th so you have to have your pack ordered by WEDNESDAY AUGUST 24th to be in the group. We are going to be doing this right along side each other so every one is kicking off on the same day, us included. Just as much as you need the support, we need the support too! This is why it's super important to reboot our systems and realign our priorities so that we are able to live the life we deserve EVEN especially though the stress of the holiday season!

Make sure when you get your pack you select a VEGAN Shakeology, I recommend chocolate since you will be on a strict meal plan for 21 days and will want your daily chocolate fix but this way it’s in the form of superfoods!!
